At E3 2011, Sony announced LittleBigPlanet on the Playstation Vita. The two teams behind the conversion were Double 11 and Tarsier. Ian was a core member of the team porting the code from PS3 to Vita; he worked on the gameplay side, adapting and extending the mechanics to suit the features of the new platform, adding touch controls, and extending the editor.
The game has won a slew of awards, including Best Motion-controlled Game at E3 2011, Best Mobile Game at Gamescom 2012, overall Game of the Year in the TIGA awards 2012, IGN’s Best Vita Game of 2012, and many others. It was nominated for Best Mobile/Handheld Game for the 2013 BAFTA Games Awards.
It currently (September ’19) has a score of 88 on Metacritic.
